The Abbot's Kitchen, is situated in the church hall of Margam Abbey.  The restaurant is run by the Friends of Margam Abbey to help raise funds for the upkeep of the hall, precincts and Abbey church and to provide a safe haven for pilgrims when they visit.

Hospitality was a fully integrated component of Abbey's Cistercian observance, which allowed the monks to connect with the wider world in a practical way while upholding the tenets of their observance and this is what we seek to keep alive today through the Abbot's Kitchen.
